Dr. Karen Hannah performing an unhurried clinical evaluation

Why Most First Visits Leave You With More Questions

Here's what most clinics do. You wait 45 minutes. You see the doctor for three. You get a quick adjustment and a vague "come back next week."

No explanation. No diagnosis. No plan.

That's the 3-minute adjustment model. It's built for speed — not for answers.

We reject it.

At Touch of Wellness, that's not how it works. Your time with Dr. Hannah is where the real work happens. Not in the waiting room.

The Three-Step Care Path

We believe in real answers, real care, and real outcomes. That starts with a process you can see and understand.

Step 1The Consultation

We sit down. We listen. We go through your history, your habits, and the specific patterns behind your symptoms. This isn't a checklist — it's a conversation.

Step 2The Evaluation

Dr. Hannah runs a hands-on exam. She finds exactly where your nervous system is under stress. We don't guess. We test.

Her background in Zoology trained her to read how bodies actually move and compensate. That training shows up in every exam.

Step 3The Report of Findings

We tell you what we found. We explain how we can help. And we tell you what it costs.

You get a clear "yes" or "no" on whether this is the right place for you. If we can't help, we'll tell you — and refer you to someone who can.

That's what billing transparency looks like in practice.

Your Questions Answered

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?

It depends on your findings. Our priority is safety and accuracy. If your exam gives us a clear diagnosis, we may proceed. If your case is complex, we'll wait until the Report of Findings to begin care.

How long does the first visit take?

Plan for about 45–60 minutes. We don't rush the diagnostic process. This is the visit where we figure out the "why" behind your pain.

What should I bring?

Your ID and any medical records or imaging you already have (X-rays, MRIs). You can handle paperwork online before you arrive.

What if I've been told nothing is wrong?

You're not the first person to hear that. Many patients come to us after being dismissed by other providers. We take your symptoms seriously. Unexplained doesn't mean it's made up.

Do you accept insurance?

We work with most plans. For full details on coverage and what to expect cost-wise, check our billing transparency page.
