Dr. Karen

Chiropractor / Acupuncturist / Clinic Director

Dr. Karen

Dr. Karen Hannah is originally from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. She lived there until she was eight, at which point she and her family moved to Davenport, Iowa. After serving as a student athletic trainer for five years in high school, she pursued a pre-medicine career at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning her Bachelor of Science in Zoology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry in May of 2006. In October 2009, Dr. Hannah received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. By September 2010, she had opened Touch of Wellness Chiropractic in Morton, Illinois.

Since opening her practice in 2010, Dr. Hannah has pursued post-doctorate certifications and degrees in Acupuncture and Animal Chiropractic. She also became a certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation. She has had the privilege of serving not only her local community as an Ambassador for the Morton Chamber of Commerce and as the Sweet Shop Co-Chairman of the Morton Pumpkin Festival but also impoverished communities globally as one of the doctors of Peak Potential Outreach. Dr. Hannah has participated in seven week-long health mission trips to Fiji with Peak Potential Outreach, providing care to thousands of patients through the non-profit organization.

In her free time, Dr. Hannah loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors, especially when she's at the beach or near a body of water. On less favorable weather days, she enjoys playing with her dogs, Hercules and Apollo (who often accompany her to work), playing cards, volleyball, and watching sports, particularly the Bears, Cubs, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Chiropractor

Dr. Bill Ellis, IX

Indeed, you read that right: Dr. Ellis is the ninth-generation William Ellis! Hailing from Fostoria, a rural town in Northwest Ohio, Dr. Ellis was raised in a tight-knit family alongside a younger sister. He always approached life with an inventive spirit and knew his ambitions would lead him beyond the confines of his hometown.

After graduating from high school with honors in 2001, Dr. Ellis continued his family tradition by enrolling at The Ohio State University for the fall semester of that year. By 2006, he had earned a Bachelor of Education in Exercise Science from the institution. Following his graduation, he worked for two years as a Chiropractic Tech, as well as a Personal and Group Fitness Trainer, at the very office where he had previously interned.

In February 2008, Dr. Ellis relocated to Davenport, Iowa, to pursue his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While the rigors of graduate school, with its late nights and extensive coursework, were initially challenging, Dr. Ellis was resolute in his journey to follow his passion. He was lucky to forge lasting friendships during this period and often found amusement in the friendly collegiate banter with his peers. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Ellis participated in Palmer bowling intramurals and served as an Ambassador for Palmer’s Center for Business Development. After ten trimesters, or just over three years of rigorous study, Dr. Ellis earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in the summer of 2011.

In his downtime, Dr. Ellis indulges in various hobbies. He's an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for his cherished Buckeyes. He also enjoys strength training, woodworking, and tinkering with electronics.
