Meet Our Team

Dr. William Ellis, IX

Yes, you did read that correctly, Dr. Ellis is the ninth generation, William Ellis! Originally from Fostoria, a rural town in Northwest Ohio, Dr. Ellis grew up in a small family with a younger sister and an ingenuitive attitude towards life. He always knew his aspirations would take him beyond the opportunities available in his home town.

Upon graduating from high school with honors, in 2001, Dr. Ellis kept his family tradition alive by enrolling in The Ohio State University for the 2001 fall semester. 5 years later, Dr. Ellis graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Education in Exercise Science. He spent the next two years working as a Chiropractic Tech/Personal/Group Fitness Trainer at the same office where he had completed his internship.

In February of 2008 Dr. Ellis made the move to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. Although graduate school was a bit of an adjustment with all of the late nights and long hours of coursework, Dr. Ellis embarked on the daunting journey towards pursuing his passion. Along the way, he was fortunate to have met some life-long friends, while at the same time reveling in the clashes of collegiate banter from his classmates. Along with his studies, he enjoyed Palmer bowling intramurals and being an Ambassador for Palmer’s Center for Business Development. After ten trimesters and three and a third years of intense coursework, Dr. Ellis graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in the summer of 2011.

During his leisure time, Dr. Ellis enjoys several hobbies including watching sports, especially his beloved Buckeyes, Strength Training, Woodworking, and Electronics.

Dr. Hannah has experienced 7 week long health mission trips to Fiji with Peak Potential Outreach, providing care to thousands of patients with the non-profit organization.

In her free time, Dr. Hannah loves to travel, enjoy the outdoors especially if she is at the beach, or surrounded by a body of water. However, if the weather is less than desirable, she enjoys playing with her dogs, Hercules & Apollo (who frequently come to work), playing cards, playing volleyball, and watching sports (particularly the Bears, Cubs, and the Ohio State Buckeyes).

Dr. Adam Gingras

Dr. Adam Gingras is a native of Central Illinois and grew up in the small town of Tremont Illinois.  After high school, his studies continued at Illinois Central College and then Illinois State University.  He received his bachelor’s of science in 2005 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry.  While in college he knew he was destined to be in the healthcare field but wanted to try his hand in aquatic ecology first.  Dr. Adam joined the Illinois Natural History Survey for several years as a fisheries technician, but soon found his true calling as a chiropractor.

In October of 2009, Dr. Adam began his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  The coursework was challenging but he excelled at his studies and skills.   While at school, he was assigned to Dr. Bill Ellis as a student patient and the two have been in contact off and on over the years.  Just to make things more challenging for himself, Dr. Adam would travel back and forth to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana to see his fiance and now wife, nearly every weekend. On February 22, 2013, Dr. Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic and returned to Central Illinois to practice.

In 2021, the stars aligned and an opportunity arose to join Dr. Bill Ellis in practice along with Dr. Karen Hannah at Touch of Wellness Chiropractic.

Outside of his work as a chiropractor, Dr. Adam spends his time keeping up with his three kids and making sure his wife has a helping hand around the house.  His family loves the outdoors and you can find them hiking, fishing, and camping around Central Illinois.
